Curious Jack is a versatile rock and roll cover band based in Metro Detroit. We are well known throughout the area due to our relationship with and frequent contributions to WDFN SportsRadio 1130 AM, as well as our live performances. We perform cover songs from the 1960's through today, from classic rock to alternative to even a little bit of funk, all with our own unique flavor. The members of Curious Jack have been performing together in one form or another since 1991. Jeff Priskorn (vocals, guitar, harmonica, percussion), Nate Fisher (guitar, bass, vocals) and Neal York (drums, percussion, vocals) played together in the mid-1990's in a band called Intense Silence, playing area gigs and recording an album. Tony Wynn (bass, guitar, vocals) and Jeff met at work and were soon writing and recording song parodies for local radio stations. The four finally came together as one in mid-2000, and have been rehearsing and playing live as Curious Jack since then. The band has a repertoire of over 50 cover songs. Notable performances include the Ritz/Palladium in Roseville, Rick's American Cafe in East Lansing, Snookers Pool 'N Pub in Utica, and the Blarney Stone Pub in Berkley, to name a few. Our shows are always high-energy, with plenty of crowd interaction. Our performances can be promoted on WDFN as well. We can provide our own PA or use a house system. Fees are negotiable.
