The Story Behind the Song:

Charles Barkley said it best when he quipped, "I ain't no role model!" Never before have once-revered athletes strived so hard to be the poorest examples they could possibly be to our youth. From DUIs to first-degree murder, from steroid abuse to spousal abuse, these wealthy sports figures make it nearly impossible to feel sorry for them. I had favorite athletes growing up, but now I don't even want to have kids because of the horrors these guys have shown me. So sing along as we pine for the days when athletes used to be respectable.
