“Sometimes Love Goes Boom” is a song written by Jeff Priskorn. It appeared on his band Elixir’s album Love Goes Boom, as well as in the award-winning 2005 independent film Love & Plutonium. The song was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Billboard World Song Contest that same year. It features Jeff on lead vocals.

The band Sometimes the Monkey is the current musical outlet for Jeff Priskorn and his partner Bill Swan. The band’s debut album, Paradise?, was written and performed entirely by Priskorn and Swan. It is available on all streaming services. Three music videos were released for the album as well.
